Unless you really appreciate a clean-shaved Disney dude...
It's hard to deny the power behind quality facial hair, even looking at the differences between a well-kept beard and a poorly-kept beard is a transformation to behold. For some people, going from clean-faced to glorious beard-face is literally life-changing.
So, what about Disney characters? There's a whole lot of facial hair featured on the dudes of Disney films from Disney dads to Disney villains and plenty of bonus characters in between.
In fact, the facial hair featured in Disney films is pretty hard not to notice so when you see a side-by-side of what these illustrators have done, you might feel a little uncomfortable. These Disney dudes have been shaved and we don't know how to feel about it.
He's much less powerful without his majestic mutton chops.
Somehow, Maurice looks a little villainous without all that hair.
This may be one of the most realistic in the series.
Please, put it back.
He needs a bigger nose if he doesn't have the beard.
Shaving took 15 years off Gepetto's face.
D'awh....
I guess Jafar's facial hair wasn't as iconic as previously believed.
This is not acceptable.
He went from magician to nerd really quick, didn't he?
Still works.
This one might be the most uncomfortable of them all.
Clearly, the beard is necessary for his pleasant disposition.
Oh, this is good and creepy.
He doesn't seem half as wise without his awesome beard.
It seems pretty clear that the dudes of Disney look way better with facial hair than without, let's hope Disney never makes a habit out of animating characters without moustaches and beards.
