Safe to say he's not gonna have much luck with women since this has gotten out.
Dating platforms are so convenient nowadays. Remember the times of those over-the-top bright flashing advertisements on the side of a website saying "FIND LOCAL GIRLS NEAR YOU!" I swear it gave me a seizure one time. Then if you happen to click on it, chances are your computer will probably end up with a virus. Good thing Tinder isn't as harsh on the eyes.
If you haven't already heard about Tinder, it's a smartphone app that is location-based, allowing you to communicate with others who also use Tinder around the same area.
It's commonly known as a dating network, however, some have used it just to make some new friends. To summarize, you see someone's photo, their short biography, and you simply swipe the screen to the right if you're interested in them.
This is a story about how a guy verbally abused a girl he matched with on the app and another guy who decided to call him out via Facebook. See how people reacted the post after revealing his truly awful character.
24-year-old Nick Vedovi was a just a typical Tinder user, searching for a girl to hang (or more) with like all Tinder users do. He seemed like a pretty nice guy judging from his photo. I mean, look at him, he could pass off as somewhat decent with his neat attire. Surely there have been more than enough girls who have swiped right for him.
But there's so much more than meets the eye...
Kevin Tran, a guy who went to the same college as Nick, decided to stand up for his female friend (who happened to be mutual friends with both boys) after she showed her their conversation, proving that Nick was not as nice as he seemed.
After hitting Nick up about it, he blocked Kevin on all social media accounts. He then publically announced this on Facebook, warning others about the crappy attitude Nick had.
Kevin also decided to share these screenshots on behalf of his friend, providing hard evidence and showing Nick's true colors. This conversation started out quite innocently...
After the girl had stopped messaging him (assuming she was taken aback when he gave out his address so freely), Nick kept messaging in an abusive and racist manner. Calling her a "chink", a "c*nt", giving her the middle-finger emoji, and insulting her further about her makeup.
It wouldn't be surprising if these comments had upset her.
Can't believe he just called her a Chink. (Racist Asian term).
Last time I checked, Asians bring so much culture and diversity on this earth. They also bring nice food to parties. Just saying.
As Kevin's Facebook post became more viral, some girls stepped forward and decided to share their own story about Nick. It seemed like every time a girl had stopped responding, he couldn't take the hint that they were possibly just not interested.
He proceeded to call this girl "useless" and continued to insult her intelligence, while only seeing her for her physical appearance. Again, she too received the middle-finger emoji from him.
And then ANOTHER girl showed up in the comments, who also decided to share her story about Nick. Again, only seeing her for her physical appearance while calling her a "c*nt" and a "b*tch".
Just... Wow.
But at least it's safe to say that not all guys you find on Tinder (or anywhere) are like this.
Someone else turned up to praise Kevin's post and was rather glad that Nick's awful personality and treatment of girls had been exposed. No one deserves to be called names or be judged, just because some people can't take a hint when someone isn't interested in them.
Honestly, we doubt he'll be finding a match on Tinder anytime soon until he makes some drastic changes with his attitude. And remember, there are plenty of other Nicks out there (I'm talking about misogynists and racists, by the way. Not necessarily the name 'Nick'. Though there really are plenty of guys named Nick), so make sure you spread the word to your single friends.
Stay safe on Tinder, everyone.
Other people on Tinder have had better luck, somewhat. Just like this couple who spoke on Tinder for three whole years before becoming a social media sensation.
