"I never grow tired of these black beauties."

“Note the velvety texture of the petals,” states Kat. “This flower is not culinary ginger, but referred to as “ginger” for its scent when crushed.”

Kat grew these lilies from bulbs. "After seeing them bloom for the first time this week, they are quickly becoming one of my fave lilies," she said.

"Appropriately named since her species of Iris far surpasses all other dark Iris in the sheer degree of her black color."
