These 40 Perfectly Timed Tweets About Summer Period Have Left People In Pool Of Laughter

So long, we will miss hating you, Internet Explorer.
After 27 long years of people complaining about its performance as well as the thousands of memes made in memory of the experiences that came along with it, Internet Explorer has finally met its end and has already retired on June 15, 2022. The browser was first released in 1995 as part of the package of Microsoft Plus! for Windows 95, and it was one of the technological advancements that kickstarted the birth of generations of developers who worked on various operating systems.
Microsoft actually made Internet Explorer hard to uninstall on purpose, so people actually just had no choice but to deal with it at the initial stages, and use it [patiently] to download other browsers that are more efficient and reliable. There are even some websites that can only be viewed in this particular browser, so even though it kind of sucks big time, we can't deny that it still hits different (although not really in a good way) compared to the newer ones.
Even if it wasn't necessarily fast and reliable, Internet Explorer is famous for the nostalgia it brings, and it is still one of the most used browsers even if people have a love-hate (well, more on hate) relationship with it. It has been set for retirement because Microsoft will now give way for its more updated version, the Microsoft Edge.
People weren't exactly devastated by the news, but we aren't really rejoicing for the death of this iconic browser, either. After all, it did play a huge part in our childhood when the Internet world was just at its baby stages.
And now, people have decided to cope with the news in the most 21st century way ever: with memes. Check out some of the best ones below!
Ah, recalling how we used to endure those long minutes of waiting for Internet Explorer to load triggers memories of innocence and the state of life when the Internet wasn't what it is today back then. We may not be necessarily fans of IE, but we can't deny how many memories it had brought for most of us who grew up along with the birth of the Internet.
