No matter what age, be it an animal or a human, we all crave company. Sheitan, a 12-year old mix of boxer did not really have any company before he came to live with Bridget Hammond.

He was mostly tied outside with no company around him. Having such a traumatic past, Sheitan now enjoys any company he gets.

Most of the time, his mom brings foster kittens to their home and he loves having them around. Hammond said while sharing about Sheitan, “She’s just so easygoing. All she wants are pets and food.

She further added, "She looks like she’d had plenty of puppies in her day, so she just curls up with the kittens and mothers them. It’s so sweet.”

Sheitan is a very loving dog and forms attachments quite easily and quickly.

Even sometimes, his mom is not aware of the company that he is keeping. Just the other day, when she was busy on her laptop walking in her living room and suddenly there he was sitting with this unidentified little girl.

Hammond shared while narrating the incident that, “I came out into my living room and saw them sitting together like that, watching TV on the phone.”

“I don’t think either of them noticed that I was there. I kinda just backed away and let them do their thing,” she added. It went on for half an hour.

The dog and the girl kept on keeping each other company through the glass door. What's beautiful about the whole thing is that the whole time they didn't talk or even moved from their places.

Hammond realized soon that they enjoy each other's company. They seem to be quite comfortable with each other.

The girl was too little to realize how happy she is making Sheitan with her presence.

“It’s all she wants, really — someone to sit with her,” Hammond told. Their play-date was cut short a while after the girl saw Hammond in the kitchen.

“Eventually, she looked up and saw me doing dishes, and I just smiled at her and she smiled back and continued to watch her show,” Hammond told. “Her parents came out and called her over for being nosy, and she kind of smirked at me and went over to her parents.”

They have not had a playdate after that again after that day.

But Hammond has been looking out for the girl so she can introduce her to Sheitan properly when the next time they come across.

Till that time, Sheitan is enjoying watching TV with anyone who will keep him company.
