Bizzaro is a single-panel cartoon strip by the brilliant artist Dan Piraro. It has been going on since 1985, and over 360 magazines and newspapers have published the work.

Despite being an old-school cartoonist, Piraro transitioned into web-based comics, which is completely different than what he was accustomed to and fiercely competitive. Many artists struggle to earn money from their crafts, especially online.

Piraro aims to make a new comic every day for the whole year. He resides in Mexico with his wife, and his takes on the modern world, and the absurdity of it, is designed to make you laugh and think simultaneously.

His bio describes his single-panel gems as a "unique concoction of surrealistic imagery, social commentary, and witty plays on words.
