Tinder. You either love it or you hate it, there's not much in between. It is the moderns worlds version of speed dating, or perhaps just a really quick way to ignore the small talk you'd usually get over some drinks and an awkward dinner, and go straight to getting laid and never speaking again... Tell me that's no true!

While it might be a great place to find other singles with the same... activities... in mind as you, Tinder has actually produced many good and long-lasting relationships and even just friendships that you wouldn't have made without it, so it's not all bad really. And if you're after a relationship or friendship then accounts like this one will really catch your eye!

Meet Jake, the hilarious dude behind the Instagram page @niftyshadesofjake where you'll find all sorts of funny, not 100% fake, Tinder profiles. Trust me, before it was banned, his account was worth trolling through a thousand awkward pick-up-lines to find.

Jake is a really funny guy who never seems to take life too seriously...

Now, he didn't just jump on the app and immediately take the piss, in fact, he tried dating on there but things didn't quite seem right for him.

"I've tried using Tinder seriously but I've never found it great for people looking to to take dating very seriously," Jake said in an interview "I also have been on some very... interesting dates. For example, I met a preacher's daughter who, on the first date, said she wanted to "bang more dudes and then get back with her ex."

Interesting might not be the right word for it, Jake.

So was this account just about the jokes or was he looking for love?

It might have been a bit of both.

"I was looking for a girl that had a sense of humor (I'm a lot to put up with)." He said. So maybe if they can get past the jokes and realize that there's real guy behind it all possibly looking for love, she might be the one Jake was looking for!

And how could you not enjoy these? They must have taken a lot of effort on his half.

Unfortunately, without much explanation Tinder deleted the account.

It was unfortunate, but never fear! That small set back hasn't stopped Jack from making lots more funny content, he's even thinking about making some new profiles on other sites! How funny would it be to see accounts like these popping up everywhere!?

And it seems that's exactly what he thinks.

"I want to try making similar profiles for other apps. It would be hilarious to make them for something like Christian Mingle or Farmers Only."

And he doesn't just offer laughs, Jake has some rather important advice he wanted to share...

"I would also like to add that, in my opinion, people should to stop taking life so seriously. Everyone likes to laugh. If you fail with a joke, just make a new one. Go on as many dates as possible, because the worst case is you have a great story to tell after."

Good advice! They do say that laughter is the best medicine, and even if you don't need medicine, everyone likes to laugh!

And honestly by the look of his IG follower count (22k) he might not be single for very much longer!

We can only hope that once Jake finds his winning lady he will still have inspiration for these posts
