Many people don't realize how words can truly be a powerful medium to get some effect on other people. It can be used in a good way—compliments and consistent reassurances truly go a long way, especially since we rarely hear those kinds of things as we grew up.

Contrastingly, words can also be used as insults, and they can range from playful to borderline harmful to just painstakingly hilarious because of how good it is. Let's face it, even if insults are generally painted to be bad, we always love hearing sarcastic and snappy comments that always leave our faces in an "OHH, Burn!" expression for a hot half minute.

Some insults are just so scorching hot, that you would take a few seconds to recover and replay them inside your heads. Even if you are at the receiving end of these insults, it would be hard to catch up if the person you are arguing with has an arsenal of out-of-this-world phrases that just don't seem to run out.

However, sometimes, the most savage insults are the ones that were not meant to be insults at all—because it just shows that they were actually genuine with what they were saying and didn't give their mouths any brakes when they spilled it all out.
