The pandemic makes everyone more aware of the things that are around us and that could be around us.

We're back here again with yet another awesome Reddit post from the AITA thread that we've taken a look at a lot before. This thread is the best thread to go to if you're looking to get unbiased opinions on your situation and get different perspectives from all over the internet.
It's a pretty interesting thread, and so many people comment on it daily, making it a super popular pick. So, with this all being said, today we're looking at a situation that was posted by a woman who wants to know if she's in the wrong to ask the parents of the kid she's babysitting to either put the kid in a school full time or not at all because of the exposure to viruses.
It turns out that OP says that they don't believe in the pandemic, so they aren't as aware of the things going on, protocols that need to be kept, and everything else in between, which leaves OP at risk. It definitely seems like OP is asking for a reasonable thing, but the parents aren't on board at all, and it's making things awkward, especially since they are related.
If you want to see the full post and all the best comments that were left on it then keep on reading as we dive in and give you all the details.
OP explains their situation and then goes into details on what the issue is with babysitting and the pandemic.
u/Crafty_Obligation_95Basically OP says that they won't watch the kid unless they're not in school at all. So they need to be in school full time or not at all.
u/Crafty_Obligation_95OP then added an edit after finding out more details and reading some of the comments that people left on the post.
u/Crafty_Obligation_95Now this is the update that we didn't really expect but quite interesting to find out the whole story.
u/Crafty_Obligation_95OP should take all the advice that she reads in the comments because people are right on it.
maat89Their assumptions seem to be getting them into a lot of trouble though because their assumptions have been wrong.
tgs-with-tracyjordanShe should feel happy for stepping up because she got herself out of a position that could have been very bad.
EvilOverLordElySome people were stuck on the fact that she babysat for free for three whole years already.
_FiestyMouse_Healthcare workers came to validate OP's feelings on their decision and explain how much kids can harbor bacteria.
RogueVictorianThey are definitely going to take advantage of OP so she needs to be clear about her expectations if this continues.
BritAllie8OP responded to this message and gave us a little insight into the way that she was thinking.
kiwikikween80It's no joke raising a baby and it's very clear just how difficult it can be no matter who you are.
No_Adhesiveness_1918We really do think that OP is in the right here and she has every right to not do this or set boundaries protecting herself and keeping her healthy. The pandemic is real and getting sick in general is increased if you're around kids.
It seems like everyone was on the same page about this though.
