We all have biases when discussing the decade we love the most. However, while the nostalgia for different decades has come and gone over the years, the nostalgia for the '80s remains strong, with no signs of slowing down.
Even today, different parts of our pop culture parody or honor the decade of greed. For instance, the Netflix hit series "Stranger Things" is set in the '80s.
So, what is it that makes that decade stand out so much? Plenty of things!
It is not hard to see why many people crave the '80s more than any other decade, considering it was a time when everything was bigger and brighter: the high hair, the colorful fashion, the outrageous slang, and the optimistic spirit.
What's there not to love? However, because there are several things to love about the '80s, some have been forgotten completely.
To be fair, the '80s was quite a long time ago, and there are too many distractions today. Like many people, we were feeling nostalgic about the '80, so we compiled a list of 40 things from that decade but with a little twist – things people who lived through that decade may have forgotten completely.
