Our narrator (Original Poster) had a secret strategy to help them cope with life’s ups and downs—lacing their snacks with CBD and THC oil. This was OP’s way of staying chill while battling a pesky neurological condition.

Luckily, OP’s job didn’t have drug tests, and they couldn’t even drive due to their condition. So, there were no unnecessary bumps in regard to their indulgence.

Their roommate’s case, however, was a different story. His work ran random drug tests, so he had to stay clean to keep his paycheck.

OP was open about his CBD-laden goodies, so the roommate made sure to keep a safe distance—until one fateful day. He staggered in drunkenly one night and helped himself to a generous portion of OP’s munchies. 

An alarmed OP called his attention to this the morning after, but he confidently brushed it off, affirming he’d been tested recently. Fast forward to a week later, and Mr. Nine-to-Five found himself in the hot seat, courtesy of another surprise drug test. Spoiler alert: he failed.
