It's said that people tend to attack you for your change in attitude but won't check if they've done something wrong to warrant the change. It really hurts when all you've done is be there for someone, only for them to pay you back in the most unexpected way.
Today's story was brought to the AITA subreddit community by a pained 27-year-old Redditor named AgentRamandu. The OP is getting married to his fiancée soon, and they've started a guest list.
OP's fiance comes from a big family, and he is an only child. Both of them are close with one of the sisters in particular and often go to visit her.
This sister has a fiancé, and because she is pregnant, she has a shotgun wedding before the baby arrives in order to keep with their traditional values and appease familial, religious desires. Guess what? They said it was a small wedding, so no plus ones, only for the OP to find out that it was just him that was excluded from the wedding.
The OP stated that he had done a lot for her sister and soon-to-be husband. He has even gone as far as to stop everything he was doing to help his fiance's sister during a health scare while she was pregnant.
And now, this is how she wants to say thank you to him. Read the entire story for yourself below.
