Feral Cat Learns How To Cuddle And Now She Simply Can't Get Enough

Everyone needs someone to love them. And no matter how tough we look on the outside, we are all mushy lovebugs on the inside.

Karen, a former feral who learned the pleasure of cuddling thanks to foster care love, was once a cat that disliked being stroked. But she wasn't exactly a pleasant lady when she was rescued from the streets by Puppy Kitty NYCity.

Karen would make her most irritated look and raise her paw in warning if someone tried to provide a soft touch. At the very least, she was polite in her disappointment.

She could have swatted, growled, and then demanded to speak with a supervisor! Karen discovered she's a snuggle bug at heart after a lot of TLC.

She adores cuddling with her foster parents and isn't afraid to demand the attention she so well deserves! Foster parent Mackenzie showed us how she's learned to deal with Karen's incessant need for cuddling in a recent episode of Cat Crazy from The Dodo.

But her problems with this clingy feline are far from solved. Mackenzie's smile expresses how much she enjoys Karen's nagging!

Let's get to know this adorable and affectionate family. We know you will enjoy it.

It's a good thing because Karen's plea for cuddling starts every morning with a serenade of cat singing. Mackenzie, like the nice cat mom she is, will climb back into bed for a cuddling session.

“Always when the cuddles start, that’s when the meowing stops.”

The meowing may have stopped, but the biscuit-making has only just begun! Karen loves to knead Mackenzie's neck with her paws. Karen astonished her the first time she did it, but now she does it all the time since it's "one of her favorite things."

“I can’t get anything done in the morning, and I basically start every day already late,” said Mackenzie.

Mackenzie works from home as an editor for an online media group, and she's gained the cutest little computer assistant while Karen has been in her care. This wonderful cat assists her foster mom in her search for the best cat TikToks.

When Mackenzie's boyfriend, Jackson, returns home from work, Karen launches into a purrsonal attack on him. Jackson, like Mackenzie, is delighted to provide Karen with the attention she craves.

Then they all sit down to eat dinner together, Karen in Mackenzie's lap once more. Karen snuggles up to Jackson and covers him in kitty kisses when it's time to watch a little TV.

Isn't it a lovely day? Karen certainly believes so, as seen by her meticulously organized snuggling schedule.

Mackenzie often can't believe the difference in Karen from her first days in Puppy Kitty NYCity's care until now. Karen arrived at the rescue unwell and aloof, but after spending so much time getting healthy and receiving affection, she realized her lovebug nature.

And she wants to shower the world with her cuddly love because she is so grateful!

“She went from sick street cat to one of the snuggliest, happiest cats in all of the land because all her incredible previous fosters showed her what love is,” shared Mackenzie.
