FedEx Employee Gets Sent Home For Snacking While On The Job

This is a pretty silly situation and more of a mundane one compared to some other wild stories that we've covered.

Welcome back to another Reddit post that we are covering today that was posted on the AITA thread. Now sometimes these posts can be pretty heavy and contain sensitive information, but this one is more mundane.

Ultimately, people like to post on this thread to get unbiased opinions on their situation and find out if they are wrong or right for how they acted in said situation. It's pretty interesting to see what people have to say and also what kind of situations people are in.

This situation is more mundane and doesn't have a lot of things that make it a really serious problem but it still is worth covering. This particular story was posted by a guy who works at FedEx and got sent home by his boss because he was eating a bagel on the job.

As you can imagine, he's looking to see if he's wrong for eating even though he felt he needed to eat. If you want to hear the full story and see what people had to say about it then keep on reading as we dive into this story.

OP starts off by explaining his job and what he was doing at the time of getting in trouble at his job.

He goes into details on what he does exactly and how he was able to take breaks in between.

He said that the took a little break to take a few bites of his bagel but his boss came over to him and told him to stop.

He said he was nice and didn't say anything crazy, but that his boss still told him to leave if he wasn't going to stop eating the bagel.

He adds in some more information, although it wasn't what was happening at the time, he says this isn't uncommon.

First comment says that OP is NTA and that this wasn't that serious of an issue for his boss to send him home from work.

Someone wanted some more information on whether or not he gets scheduled breaks at work or not and OP came back with a response.

Some people were telling OP that he was just being human and if he's hungry then he should be able to eat.

Others acted like it was the biggest deal in terms of sanitation of him eating on the job, but OP came to clarify.

On the other hand, some people actually votes TA and said that OP is wrong for eating on the job and he's supposed to be paying attention to his work instead.

We feel like this one had a few different responses because many people thought if he needed to eat then he should be able to eat as long as he's not hurting anything. However, some people agreed with his boss and said that he should have been working and paying attention to his job instead.
