The United States of America is a land of opportunity and freedom. Most importantly, it is a huge country with a populace comprised of immigrants from all over the world.
And when you combine all these things, interesting food creations emerge. Now, for most non-Americans, there is no such thing as American cuisine because they believe that all of the dishes in America are actually based on recipes and eating habits that immigrants brought with them.
However, this is not entirely true. over the years, and thanks to the cultural diversity, the dishes have changed so much that they remotely resemble the ones made hundreds of years ago. Yes, there is such thing as American cuisine.
And it is interesting. The combinations of flavors and ingredients weren't even possible before Columbo discovered the continent.
We have trouble imagining an Irish homemaker in the 15th century combining recipes she got from her Chinese and Indian friends, right? Especially if they involve potatoes and peppers.
Well, it all became possible thanks to the USA. That country attracted them all to come and live together, exchanging experiences and food culture.

And it also prevents you from trying out different things in life - and that’s what life is all about. So, if you’ve found some interesting dishes on this list, you can find a recipe online and try it for yourself.
