Most of them must be faking it so I’m not even surprised at some of these.

Being a celebrity has its pros and cons, you are adored by millions all over the world and constantly getting their undivided attention. However, it can get pretty overwhelming since fans usually have many expectations from the artists or public figures they adore and they can get pretty annoying and sometimes even petty and aggressive.

That is what drives artists to sometimes adopt a completely different personality that they only showcase in public and when they are on camera or public events or any kind. Nevertheless, this does not mean that all artists are fake, some of them do not have a problem showing their real personalities, and even the ones that are faking it have every right to do so because everyone is entitled to keep their personal lives secret and out of of the spotlight.

A Reddit user that goes by the username u/ObelisktheT asked the r/AskReddit community a very interesting question that goes “which celebrities do [THEY] think are faking their whole personality?”. The Redditor got a lot of interesting answers to his question that you might even agree with.

Privacy is something quite valuable and as regular non-celebrity people, we don’t really know what it feels like to be constantly getting attention even if you don’t feel like it. Once you’re a public figure, you now belong to the people and they feel like they can harass you any way they can because for them you’re not a real person and you’re just a tool for entertainment.

With that said, I’m not really surprised that some celebrities have fake personalities because putting your real personality out there might end up putting you up to even more criticism and abuse.
