Entitled Stepmother Wears White To Wedding To Get Revenge On Her Husband's Mother, Gets Kicked Out Of The Will

Attending a wedding in white is a cultural custom, and since it's the bride's big day, she should wear only white. If anyone else wears white, it suggests that they're trying to outshine the bride and divert attention from her.

However, we see the OP's stepmother wear white to a wedding, and she intended for things to happen in that circumstance. She came into the OP's life when she was very young, and she's been tormenting her since then.

The stepmother is not liked by OP's father's side of the family for many reasons, one of which is how she treats the kids. Not forgetting to mention that this stepmom also has two children, with one being super entitled.

The OP's grandmother lived across the street from where the OP and her sister lived. She helped the OP's dad out a lot after their mom left.

OP's grandmother didn't like the stepmom as well, and she was a tough woman when it came to defending her grandchildren. Unfortunately, OP's grandma was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, and while she did go into remission, it did come back.

OP's cousin got engaged, and on the wedding day, OP's stepmother stepped in wearing white. The stepmother's actions spoke loudly about her character, as they all knew that their grandmother wasn't doing well, so she wanted to steal the show.

It didn't end there, though, and you can read all about it as you scroll down below.

The OP reveals more details in an edit

So, why hasn't my father left? Simply because he's afraid of being alone after what my mother did to him. I was a hellion to my stepmother when I was younger for good reasoning and he looked at me one day and asked me if I wanted him, "to be alone?"
He's realized in the past two years that she's shoving his daughters away. I walked out after her and I got into a fight and she threatened to call the cops on me because I shoved her when I didn't, and my father knows I didn't because I was standing right there. My sister is turning 18 in a couple of months so she's planning on leaving herself, where she goes hasn't been decided yet, but she's talked about moving in with my boyfriend and I over an hour away. I moved that far to have an excuse to not be around often.

Some Redditors pointed out that OP's dad saw that all his family was unhappy with his choice of a wife, which they made very clear that they were unhappy, and they even talked to him face to face and told him he should divorce her, but he didn't. Then he must be as gullible as the stepmother who thought she would be in the grandma's will.
