Entitled Neighbors Feel They Have A Right To Make Use Of Family’s Parking Spaces

Sometimes, it's almost impossible for some neighbors to take 'no' for an answer.

Entitled Neighbors Feel They Have A Right To Make Use Of Family’s Parking Spaces

What is that thing between neighbors and parking disputes? In one way or another, we tend to hear stories of neighbors and their unnecessary dramas.

Everyone is someone else’s neighbor. And no one should feel entitled to another person’s property just because they have more space than you do.

The Redditor in today’s story experienced what it’s like to have entitled neighbors. Even after being told otherwise, these neighbors claimed that they had the right to park and allowed others to use this family's slots.

Okay, the thing is that the OP just parked in a new house, and just days later, the neighbors started asking if they were going to use all their parking spaces. You see, the OP’s house has an "extended 3-parking space lot on the back of it."

Now, the thing is, these neighbors want to park in their garage for FREE! Of course, they got a "no" as a reply, but it didn’t end there.

A certain neighbor actually went ahead and told some people to park in the OP’s garage without informing them first. They got sent out, and the lady in question approached the OP in order to get permission.

But then, after some back and forth, her request was declined. This resulted in a dispute between the two parties, which forced the family to involve their landlord.

The thread was clearly started by Redditor u/JerbekaDlante in the r/entitledb*tch forum in order to air their grievances and call out their neighbors. Some commenters have noted that since you still have to live next to them regardless of the outcome, there is no way to win in this scenario.

Some said that the neighbors were just feeling entitled to the OP and the OP alone. We’ve gathered some of the most popular comments from the thread below, so go check them out.

One thing is for sure, we don’t get to choose who becomes our neighbors. We can only hope that they are nice people and not entitled crackheads.
