To be fired means that an employer has terminated your employment against your will. There are several reasons why business owners let go of their staff.
Most people, however, do not require a good cause to discontinue employment. It is likely that an individual is an at-will employee if they are not covered by a collective bargaining agreement or employment contract.
A business owner who hires people at will is able to terminate their employment at any time and without cause. Nevertheless, the majority of employers don't let people go without good reason.
In fact, the majority of dismissals are referred to as "terminations for cause," which means that the employee was at fault and hence lost his or her job. As you can already tell from the title, this TikToker was fired from her workplace, but for what reason? TikTok Videos
Sounds weird, right? I mean, it's okay if there was something wrong with the videos she made, but other commenters said that her videos were totally okay and that they were not enough reason to get her fired.
In fact, the TikToker also said that other employees were also making TikTok videos on the clock, but she was the only one fired for it. Keep scrolling to read the full story and watch her video as well.
This TikToker is an employee at Taco Bell and she claims she was let go after a coworker complained about her for making TikTok videos at work
@dopey227destinyAn employee of Taco Bell claims she was let go after a coworker complained about her for making dancing videos for TikTok while she was at work. The TikToker's name is Destiny and she revealed why she lost her Taco Bell job in a follow-up video to one of her dance videos.
She also claims in the video that other employees were also making TikToks while on the job, but only she was fired as a result. The currently popular video can be seen here.
Apparently, some people who saw the video were torn as they couldn't decide if the TikToker deserved being fired from her job. On the other hand, some commenters disagreed.
“I just watched a few of your videos! you weren’t harming anything just having fun,” one viewer said. Another person left a comment saying, "a lot of coworkers are never truly your friends."
A third commenter chimed in saying, "find another job and learn from this experience." TikToker Destiny claims in a subsequent video that you just saw that she learned who had complained about her to her supervisors.
Here is what she said...
@dopey227destinyThe majority of viewers backed Destiny, urging her to name-call the person who had reported her. "FINISH THEM!! we don’t like snitches," someone said.
Ultimately, Destiny shared the Instagram account of the individual who, according to her, reported her and got her fired. But apparently, the comment has been deleted.
