Humans beings are known to be the most intelligent creatures on Earth, or to speak in technical terms, the smartest animals in this world. Given the exponential growth of technology, it is likely that we will never be comprehensively surpassed by any other intelligent species no matter how alien.
Intelligence is not just a question of getting through difficult problems or memorizing facts quickly, as some would have us believe, but reason and perspective. But it goes to say that humans are not always on the right side of things—we are not always right, but we are almost always right.
However, there are just some moments in our lives that lead us to think that we are actually somehow very stupid in our own little ways (or even in larger ways, for some people). Even though we are basically the most intelligent creatures to walk on this planet, it is also not a secret that almost all of us are bound to make stupid mistakes, and lots of it, mind you, at multiple points in our lives.
Because of that, we are also bound to make some stupid questions, too—like the ones featured on this Reddit thread after someone asked "What’s the dumbest thing you’ve ever been asked by anyone?"

Just don't do it on a regular basis though, we got the "smartest creatures on Earth" title to uphold!
