Read 35 Of The Dumbest Things People Have Overheard Others Say And Feel Better About Yourself
"You're from Australia? Can you speak African?"

There are a lot of legendary must-read discussions on Reddit but one, in particular, takes the cake. The story was shared in answer to the question, "Who's the dumbest person you've ever met?"
That's how the world of Reddit met a student named Kevin. His former teacher replied to the question above and shared many of the instances where Kevin showcased his thinking prowess.
The teacher said his years of teaching have taught him to keep an open mind when it comes to judging his students' different types of intelligence. He believed in this until he met Kevin and everything went out the window.
He said talking to Kevin was like conversing with someone who was in a freak accident and somehow forgot everything they've learned past the 2nd grade... Kevin was in the 9th grade at that time. When the teacher met Kevin's family everything became clearer and understood where Kevin inherited his specific type of intelligence.
Here are some examples of Kevin's head-scratching adventures: Kevin forgot where his class was and the teacher had to fetch him from other classrooms, he ate an entire 24 pack of crayons then proceeded to puke only to do it the next day; did we mention he was already in the 9th grade?
Kevin's father wrote checks for his public school tuition fee and mailed them to his English teacher. They once went on a trip and forgot all of their luggage at home.
These are just some of the examples of Kevin's 9th-grade misadventures. He has done a lot more things that would make a goldfish seem smart and you should definitely read about them.
Kevin's certain brand of intelligence is definitely not isolated. Fortunately for use, we can read all about them in this amusing thread:

Is it awful to say I feel a bit better and more secure about myself? Admittedly no one is perfect and mistakes are perfectly normal, our ability to learn new information is what really matters at the end of the day.
