It is absurd for one gender to blame the other for ending up single
Men frequently blame women for the growing single population by claiming they have unrealistic ideals that no man can ever live up to. However, they are more likely to be viscerally single and feel lonelier than ever.
The truth is that women are not single because they have high expectations. They have them for a reason, and if they are alone in life, it is due to their own choices.
A TikToker with the handle @honestappraisal recently explained this in detail. The man sheds light on how heterosexual males unknowingly project their insecurities about being single onto women.
This TikTok went on to explain how men who blame single women for having high standards are unknowingly projecting their own insecurities onto them. It took a brave man to step forward and tell the cold, hard truth about his fellow men.
As he explains in the video caption, better creators have made this point more articulately than he has, but perhaps it will get through because it comes from a man. And, based on viewer reactions, it most certainly did.
Everything depends on what men mean when they talk about standards and blame women for being single. It's a different story when women's expectations are perfectly reasonable.
If you spend time on the internet, as most of us do these days, you'll notice that there's a growing trend among women to consciously choose to remain single rather than waste their time on someone who doesn't deserve it. And it's no surprise that some men are upset about this, given that research shows that heterosexual relationships benefit men more than women—they are happier, healthier, earn more money, and live longer lives than their bachelor counterparts.
On the other hand, studies show that unmarried and childless women are the happiest subpopulation in the UK. In other words, if you are a man, you should probably marry; if you are a woman, you should probably not.
Men have fewer opportunities to secure romantic connections as a result of a cultural shift in which women are more assertive about their boundaries, desires, and needs than ever before. Especially those who refuse to advance in dating and personal development and then become enraged when women, to put it simply, give up on them.

Some men have grandiose delusions, are self-centered, and believe they are superior to others, so they believe they are the ones who set the standards and look down on certain people. Either way, it is absurd for one gender to blame the other for ending up single.
