Have you ever done something so dumb that you get the intense feeling of instant regret? Not things like wearing jeans to a fancy dinner, or calling your teacher mom, but real things that seem like a fantastic idea, until the moment you actually begin to do it. Though for many people, that's the point of no return, and even though you know you're about to end up in a terrible situation you just can't stop the bad-ideas train from rolling out of the station.

Well, that's exactly what happened to this college student, Patrick Davidson. He had a wild night on the drinks and decided that was the perfect time to email his professor asking for an extension on his latest paper. And like a good-natured man his professor, Mr. Martin responded accordingly...
