During a routine cycling trip with a friend, Skinner stumbled upon a small spaniel sitting alone by the roadside. What they encountered next was truly heart-wrenching—a plastic bag nearby contained the lifeless bodies of four puppies.

The vet’s assessment revealed that they had been born alive on the very day they were abandoned. Although a microchip was found, it only provided information about the original breeder, leaving the culprits behind this heartless act unidentified.

However, amidst the despair, there was a glimmer of hope for the grieving mother dog. Rescued by a local dog shelter, she was given the name Carly and assured of a future free from mistreatment.

The 58-year-old councilor for Boston Borough Council shared a story about a cycling trip with a friend.

Upon finding the distressed dog, Paul immediately contacted the police, the RSPCA, and a nearby greyhound sanctuary for help.

Abandonment and abuse plague countless dogs, subjecting them to suffering and endangerment. Left to fend for themselves, they endure hunger, disease, and perilous conditions.
