Dogs and other pets alike should really be made to feel love and kindness from their owners; they are not wild animals looking for scraps and leftovers to eat. They are living, breathing creatures with emotions and thoughts similar to ours, and they can help us in a variety of ways.

For centuries, dogs have demonstrated that they are human friends, and they deserve to be treated well because they unconditionally love humans. This isn’t too deep for any well-meaning person to understand!

Some cold-hearted person who is currently living in Texas adopted this sweet dog, Bubbles, but completely failed to meet the responsibility of caring for this adorable dog.

Bubbles had a rocky start in life. Bubbles was taken to a shelter at the age of six months after being horribly beaten and abused.

She was bludgeoned with a hammer after being shot in the head. Bubbles must have suffered excruciating pain in sustaining this level of injury at such a young age.

This life is not fair at all, even for dogs and other pets. Most of the time, they are loved by their owners without any reservation, but sometimes they get maltreated and abandoned to rot.

Kilyn Horton Blanchard and her hubby, Ike Blanchard, were volunteer workers at a local animal shelter in Houston, Texas, around the moment the dog was brought there. The pair instantly fell in love with the adorable puppy.

Bubbles’ right eye was punctured, she had a deep wound on her face, and scans revealed that her jaw had been shattered and was healing improperly. She can only open her mouth half an inch.

A computed tomography scan revealed that she was shot through her eye socket, and the bullet rammed her inner ear and jaw. Bubbles was determined to survive whatever life threw at it.

Her bio reads, "Cruelty survivor; at six months old, she was shot in the head." "I am living a great life now with my new family."

We love happy endings and wish them for all dogs looking for forever homes! And we are grateful to the adoptive families who provide peaceful and loving homes for these endangered pets.

It is perfectly acceptable if one is not a dog lover and does not wish to adopt a dog or other animal. However, it is, however, highly irresponsible to adopt one of these beautiful animals and then start treating them inhumanely, to the extent of giving them gunshot injuries.

Let us all stand together, animal rights activists, to oppose this horrific treatment of helpless animals! Please share your thoughts in the comments section below.
