Grief-Stricken Dog Owner Asks Online Community How To Move On From Loneliness And Anger Brought By Death Of Their Dog Of Almost 12 Years

The husband didn't clean up the dog poo on the carpet before leaving for work.
Relationships can be tricky, and sometimes the littlest things can turn into huge arguments. This was the case for one couple who disagreed with dog poop. The Reddit user shared a story about her husband leaving the puppy's poop on the carpet for her to clean up.
The couple's daily routine revolves around their adorable little puppy, who usually wakes up around 4:45 in the morning. OP, being an early riser, often wakes up before her husband and takes care of the puppy's needs, allowing her husband to sleep in a bit longer before starting his day.
However, on this particular night, OP had some reading she wanted to catch up on, and her husband didn't want to see her reading light. So, she decided to read in the guest room instead while her husband stayed in their room with the puppy, not wanting to disturb the animal's sleeping routine.
The next morning, OP woke up to find that the puppy had pooped on the carpet in their bedroom. She realized that her husband had not bothered to clean it up, even though he had been awake and aware of the mess. Instead, he had simply left it there for her to clean up later.
Understandably, OP was angry and disgusted and who wouldn't be after waking up to the sight and smell of dog poop that's been sitting on the carpet for hours. She had to clean up the poop on the only day when she could sleep in because her husband had left it to marinate on the carpet.
She texted him in anger, asking why he would leave the poop there when he was already awake. He responded by saying he had stomach issues and had to leave for work but OP was still angry and told her husband that she didn't care about his excuses.
She even went so far as to say that she could never have kids with him because she would be stuck doing everything for them. This upset her husband, who accused her of making pandemonium so early in the morning.
It seems like the people of Reddit agree that the husband is in the wrong, and it's an understandable decision. Fully cleaning the carpet would have probably taken too long, but he could have just picked it up and thrown it away before leaving.
There's no excuse for what the husband did but the question is, did OP go too far by saying she won't have kids with him because of this?
