Dog Owner Is Baffled To Find Someone Who Doesn't Like Their Dog, Pulls Their Dog Back Under The Table

Dog Owner Is Baffled To Find Someone Who Doesn't Like Their Dog, Pulls Their Dog Back Under The Table

It is obvious that dog owners adore, care deeply for, and desire the happiness of their greatest pals. However, there is a widespread issue among dog owners: they don't seem to understand that not everyone enjoys or even loves dogs.

As unbelievable as it may seem, some people do not think dogs are adorable, charming, and amiable. To be clear, not everybody likes dogs.

There are a number of reasons why some people don't like dogs, none of which would be met with opposition and contention from the majority of dog owners. That's okay, too, but on the value of dogs, everyone doesn't have to agree.

Dog owners' brains are wired differently, making it difficult for them to understand that not everyone shares their affection for dogs. Regardless of whether the animal is leashed or not, some people would never allow it to touch them without their consent, and dog owners who purposefully allow it to happen should know that it's not appreciated.

There is an "agree to disagree" reality since it's a matter of personal preference. The right of an individual to keep dogs at a distance must be recognized, though, and that is what the OP of today's story wanted.

He went to a brewery restaurant with his wife, only for a dog to appear out of nowhere and sniff his ankle. He told the owners he wasn't dog-friendly, and they couldn't believe it.

The OP added this edit for further clarification

Indoors is not dog friendly. Outdoors is dog friendly. My wife and I specifically chose indoor seating because it was not dog friendly.

Many people don't have anything against those who own and take care of dogs, savoring their character, love, and loyalty. However, you should respect their freedom to remain far away and not be coerced into interacting with your dog.

Draw the conclusion that, despite your own belief that dogs are excellent in every way, there are others who do not share your opinion and would prefer that you keep your dog at a distance.
