There are some friendships that may seem improbable, but in fact, they are so strong they can withstand anything. A 5-year long friendship between a shepherd dog Ingo and an owl Poldi is one of those friendships.

It started more than 5 years ago when they were young and they are still inseparable, and they love to be photographed together.

Ingo and other animals are the members of Tanja Brandt's family. She is a skilled and amazing animal photographer. And she has chosen these two animals as the perfect models to depict a wonderful friendship between two totally different species.

“I’ve always loved animals, since I was a baby, unlike the rest of my family"- Tanja says. "When I was little, I found every sort of pet and then hid it from my parents. I love the beauty, power, loyalty, courage, and friendship of animals. Many people could learn from them.”
