Nothing truly beats the classics, and even though Disney has never failed to give us such excellent films jampacked with lessons and interesting characters throughout the years, the old ones with our favorite Disney princesses just hit differently. They were the ones we never got tired of watching even as we grew up into adults, and we would honestly still put them on for a comfort movie night if we had the chance to.
These Disney princesses and characters were our first role models in life, albeit they weren't really great people to look up to because of their naivety and most of the time, cluelessness about life and love, but they were still our role models all the same. As kids, we always wanted to have their beautiful gowns and dresses and we even wished to have the power to talk to animals just like Cinderella.
We're happy that they all got their happily-ever-after, but they didn't meet their end so easily because there were a lot of obstacles along the way, mainly caused by their equally iconic villains. They had to go through enchantments, curses, and lots and lots of manipulation.
Even though they did get through it all, there really were a lot of heartbreaking moments in their respective films that we may or may have not noticed. Just take a look at some of the most subtle yet heartbreaking details shared by people online:
1. Elsa's Parents Created Her Prison Cell
"The type of chains Elsa has on were obviously made for her. However, Hans could not have made them because no idea that covering Elsa's hands stopped her powers and also didn't resources at the time to make them. The only people who could have known this were her parents. Elsa's parents made a cell specifically for their daughter in case she got out of control." - u/_BindersFullOfWomen_
