Team Of Digital Artists Collaborate To Create The Coolest Disney Princess Zodiac Series

This fantasy inspired art series features a variety of illustrators who all collaborated together to create a really cool series featuring Disney Princesses representing the various Zodiac signs.

METITart is a collaborative effort in Vietnam to connect young artists in and near the city of Chi Minh. They have said that all of the digital artists who work with them have the "same passion" for digital painting.

Many of the digital artists who collaborate with METITart are freelance illustrators who have their own respective businesses and often METITart is taking submissions from artists to be featured on their social media platforms. However, sometimes METITart leads the way in bringing a group of digital artists together to work on a singular project.

In the last year, this has included a really cool Sailor Moon series and the Disney Princess Zodiac Signs. 12 Vietnamese artists who specialize in digital art each contributed a princess illustration to represent a different Zodiac sign, culminating in a 12-piece series that represented all of the Zodiac signs.

With little more than a prompt and an idea, these 12, talented artists each created a stunning work of art that became a part of something bigger, and you have to appreciate what it takes for 12 different individuals to work together to create a single project!

1. Merida - Scorpio

Scorpio is the eighth astrological sign in the zodiac, originating from the constellation of Scorpius. Common descriptions of Scorpios include: 'Scorpios are passionate and assertive people with determination and focus you rarely see in other zodiac signs."

2. Rapunzel - Sagittarius

Sagittarius is the ninth astrological sign, which is associated with the constellation Sagittarius and spans 240–270th degrees of the zodiac. A common description of this zodiac sign is: "Sagittarius is an extrovert, always optimistic, full of enthusiasm, and ready for changes."

3. Elsa - Aquarius

Aquarius is the eleventh astrological sign in the zodiac, originating from the constellation Aquarius. A regular description of Aquarius is: "A visionary and someone ready for changes, an Aquarius is a known thinker and someone who will shake your world once they are in it."

4. Cinderella - Virgo

Virgo is the sixth astrological sign in the Zodiac. It spans the 150–180th degree of the zodiac. Virgos are regularly described as such: "A Virgo personality is a mix of intelligence, attention to detail, common sense, and commitment."

5. Snow White - Cancer

Cancer is the fourth astrological sign in the zodiac, originating from the constellation of Cancer. It spans from 90° to 120° celestial longitude. Astrology experts described Cancers as deeply intuitive and sentimental: "Cancer can be one of the most challenging zodiac signs to get to know. They are very emotional and sensitive, and care deeply about matters of the family and their home."

6. Tiana - Capricorn

Capricorn is the tenth astrological sign in the zodiac out of twelve total zodiac signs, originating from the constellation of Capricornus, the horned goat. Capricorns are often highly regarded: "Capricorn is a sign that represents time and responsibility, and its representatives are traditional and often very serious by nature."

7. Pocahontas - Leo

Leo, Latin for Lion, is the fifth sign of the zodiac. It corresponds to the constellation Leo and comes after Cancer and before Virgo. Leos are often held in high regard: "People born under the sign of Leo are natural-born leaders. They are dramatic, creative, self-confident, dominant, and extremely difficult to resist."

8. Mulan - Gemini

Gemini is the third astrological sign in the zodiac but the sun transits this sign differently depending on whether it is under the sidereal or tropical zodiac. Geminis have a reputation for being expressive and quick-witted: "Gemini represents two different personalities in one and you will never be sure which one you will face."

9. Aurora - Libra

Libra is the seventh astrological sign in the zodiac. It spans 180°–210° celestial longitude. Like the other astrological signs before and after them, Libras have a reputation of their own as well: "The sign of Libra is an Air sign, set between Gemini and Aquarius, giving these individuals constant mental stimuli, strong intellect, and a keen mind."

10. Belle - Taurus

Taurus is the second sign of the zodiac, and it's symbolized by the bull. Taurus folks are described typically as stable and conservative: "People born with their Sun in Taurus are sensual and tactile, considering touch and taste the most important of all senses."

11. Jasmine - Aries

Aries is the first astrological sign in the zodiac, spanning the first 30 degrees of celestial longitude, and originates from the constellation of the same name. Astrology experts have a lot of positive things to say of Aries: "As the first sign in the zodiac, the presence of Aries always marks the beginning of something energetic and turbulent."

12. Ariel - Pisces

Pisces is the twelfth and final astrological sign in the zodiac. It is a negative, mutable sign. Ariel being chosen to represent Pisces is truly the perfect fit, after all, this is what is said of Pieces folks: "The sign of Pisces is a sign of incorrigible romantics, for it exalts Venus and serves love, devotion, pleasure and all that is beautiful and tender."

The Disney Zodiac Princesses was METITart's first collaborative project but it wasn't their last and we can only hope we'll have opportunities in the future to see what they inspire groups of artists to collaborate on! You can follow METITart on Facebook and Behance.
