Of course, cartoons aren't just for children. But for the majority of children, a love of movies frequently begins with cartoons.
However, the best animated films don't merely appeal to young audiences or invoke nostalgia for childhood. For a variety of audiences and age groups, they are effective on many levels.
Everyone has at least one mouse-ear-branded property that they hold dear, regardless of whether you view Disney as a good dream factory, an evil corporate conglomerate hellbent on world dominance, or a massive liberal plot poisoning the earth with the woke mind virus. Regardless of your opinion on Disney, you can't dispute that the studio has produced some of the best animated films ever as well as some excellent live-action films.
That does not mean, however, that you should watch everything the House of Mouse has created. In actuality, we're far from it.

We swan-dived Scrooge McDuck-style into the Disney catalog and culled out the 50 can't-miss options for your upcoming family movie night to help you distinguish between the Wall-Es and Dumbos from the Mars Need Moms-es. So keep scrolling and enjoy!
