Whatever format an artist is most proficient at or enjoys the most, it's probably pretty safe to say that a lot can be learned from illustrating ballet dancers, from proportions to features, and especially movement. Ballet is an art form in itself, so illustrating ballet dancers can be quite tricky.

Dutch artist willemijn1991 dedicated an entire series to re-creating beloved Disney damsels as ballet dancers, bringing traits undeniably known to be attributed to each individual character to the ballet dancer's costumes, and honestly, she also did a great job capturing precisely the sort of movement you'd expect from these diverse personalities, too!
