We dog lovers are probably all guilty of speaking in baby terms when we are with our dogs. It is unavoidable.

They're just so adorable, and when we see adorable things, sometimes our voices rise. When that happens, we speak in simple terms and we invent words and absurd sounds.

Our pets don't seem to mind us talking like that, for the most part. Baby talk is typically accompanied by affectionate gestures.

Any owner of a dog will tell you that their pet prefers using baby talk to using tough language and yelling. For this Redditor, he chose to teach his Spaniel new tricks.

He’s taught him high fives, the figure of eights, and, best of all, how to nod and shake his head. So you can say he’s become one with the baby language around his dog.

One day, he gets a seed stuck in between his teeth, which refuses to move, so he has to pay a visit to the dentist. It actually took quite a bit of wrangling for the dentist himself to dislodge it, but after getting it out, the OP blotted out what he shouldn’t have.
