With 2020 just around the corner, it's no surprise that everyone from celebrities to journalists to the guy next door, are taking a walk down memory lane, and summing up the last decade.

Mari, a 26-year-old book critic, challenged Twitter users to start looking back over the years when she posted a 'then and now' style photo of herself at the start of the decade vs. now.

The thread has since had thousands of replies from people who decided to accept Mari's challenge and post their own decade transformations.

It's interesting to note that the largest age group on Twitter is 25-34. This is a group of people who began the 10's as teenagers and young adults. The next most popular age group of Twitter users 18-24. These people have quite literally grown up over this past decade. So, it's no wonder they would have gone through some pretty massive life changes and experiences during that time.
