Twitter Users Dug Into Movie History And Shared Their Favorite “I’m Dead And I Know It” Moments

Just like in real life, movie characters die all the time, it is almost impossible to watch a movie without at least a few characters dying. It does not always have to be violent, sometimes it's beautiful and peaceful but it's still death nevertheless.

Some characters like to go out with a bang, something about their death ends up being memorable and people give it a little bit more attention than the rest of the movie because the little moments matter as much as the big ones. The very last moments matter the most because that's when the character usually knows with certitude that they're about to die, so the way they react to it has to be just perfect. It's their last time to shine, so it is an opportunity to leave a lasting impact on the audience despite dying sooner than expected.

Not just that, there's always the option of a heroic send-off or a last-minute action with a huge impact. Twitter users started a thread where people were asked to share their favorite “I am dead and I know it” moments in cinematic history, and some of the replies were simply gold. Scroll down and check them out!

The actors who played the roles above made sure to keep performing brilliantly until the very end. It must suck to have our character die in a movie, but you could at least make your last moments something to be remembered with and that has a lasting impact on the audience.

The replies people gave were great, it was a nice reminder of a lot of movies that I almost forgot even existed. Especially the exact moments the users above mentioned in the Twitter replies.

Old but very much so gold.
