Can Superman be more super?
Samuel Shin, an artist, based in San Francisco, has been exposed to the world of comic books and superheroes since he was a kid. That gave him a superpower of drawing them marvelously.
But, of course, it didn’t come without learning and practice - he graduated from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Now he is a versatile artist, able to use both digital and traditional mediums. He worked as a storyboard and sketch artist for many movies, TV commercials, and posters.
His clients include Warner Brothers, Retrofit Films, Fiction Films, and Ayzenberg. Currently, he is a social media illustrator for the NFL.
Even though he is a recognized illustrator, he still loves creating fan art of his favorite comic book characters. After all, they are the ones that made him start drawing in the first place. The superheroes always inspired him to aim for more, and it's something he will never forget. His favorite Characters are Superman and Batman. "As a big Marvel fan I am, can't deny Batman and Superman are the two kings of the superhero lore," he says.
He regularly publishes his work on his official website and Instagram account and has more than 12K followers.
