Basically, it's about a woman who catches the subway home from work. One day, she is racing towards the train to get on it when the doors shut and she misses the train. There's then an alternate scene where she makes it into the train.

The rest of the movie plays out, showing what happens in her life if she both caught and missed the train that day. Some major, major juicy things.

I won't give anything away, but basically the entire trajectory of her life changes because of this one, sliding-door plot-twist moment.
