There are different ways in which relatives interact. They have their roles and connections and the different elements that influence such interactions.
Family members are one of the main sources of relationship security or stress since they depend on one another for emotional, physical, and financial support. Talking about support, OP's husband was there for his parents, and so was the OP.
When the OP met her husband, he lived between his parents and his sister in a home that his parents owned. Before they got married, his mother was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer, and his father had several heart attacks.
They decided to continue living there to help his parents out. The OP was a sit-at-home mom who took care of the needs of both households while her husband worked.
For tax purposes, OP's in-laws wanted to put the home they live in in her husband's name, which she had no problems with. However, they decided to tell him that it wouldn't really be his until they passed and made him sign the back of the deed like he was selling it, then took it back.
They do things to him like this all the time and treat him like an irresponsible teenager, even though they have been paying the land and home taxes since they moved in. Now, the OP's husband is confined to a wheelchair, and they still expect the OP to work, take care of her husband, and still care for them.
The OP kicks off her story

Reddit/EmotionalYear1372Their original plan was to stay put until they passed but the OP is tired as it's been 8 years
Reddit/EmotionalYear1372OP has offered the following explanation for why they think they might be the AH:
I asked my husband to move because I am tired of living between his mother and sister. His mom has stage four colon cancer and we have lived here 8 years.

Reddit/EmotionalYear1372Since the house's documents bear the name of the husband, Redditors told the OP to have a lawyer check them. The OP was also told to have a talk with her husband as it can be less expensive and quite legal to remain in the house and the plan will not work unless he agrees.
Then, she can let her in-laws know about it, replace the locks, and stop giving a damn about what they would like to do with it.
