National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma shares the same faith with all the other museums. It had to be closed because of the Coronavirus pandemic.
The management tried to make the most out of the whole situation, but when they assigned their Twitter account to their Head of security Tim Send, they couldn’t even imagine what a smart move it was.
His tweets are one of the nicest things you can see online and gaining more and more followers every day. They are both educational, providing info about the museum’s displays, and simply cute in showing Tim’s attempts to get a hold of the social network’s functions.
ncwhmThe National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum has had an exceptional reputation even prior to Tim taking over its social media accounts. It boasts a 4.7-star rating on Google reviews with 2,646 votes. “With the exception of Thunder, Oklahoma’s known for, above all else, its rich Wild Western history. This incredible history is preserved for all to see in OKC’s National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum,” the management says on its website.
“Featuring galleries full of Native American and Western attire, firearms, artifacts, and even movie props, it’s easy to see why the Cowboy Museum is considered to be one of OKC’s most unique (and quintessentially Oklahoman) attractions. Visitors flock to the museum from all corners of the country looking for their dream Wild Western learning experience, and who can blame them? It’s only the most extensive collection of Western art, history, and memorabilia (more than 28,000 pieces!) in the world.”
Unfortunately, because Oklahoma City Mayor David Holt declared a state of emergency as a result of the COVID19 pandemic, the museum is at this time closed to the public. But no need to worry - once the lockdown is over, you’ll be able to visit it and check out all the things Tim has been tweeting about.
