There are so many famous characters from Western culture, including Snow White, the Snow Queen, and Cinderella. But when it comes to timeless animation from the other side of the world, there is still so much to learn.
The most well-known anime characters ever brought to life on screen are produced by the one and only Studio Ghibli, the Japanese version of Disney. One of these well-known anime productions has a cult following and serves as a national symbol.
Totoro is undoubtedly already familiar to you. He is a huge, cuddly, furry monster modeled after the mythical Koropokkuru animals from Ainu folklore.
Many people have found inspiration from Japanese folklore, including a wonderful elderly couple from Takahuru, Miyazaki in Japan. The 70-year-olds created a handmade duplicate of the well-known animated movie character, which is now a feature of the bus stop with a Totoro theme.
It makes sense why people are coming from all around the land of the rising sun merely to get their photo taken with a well-known anime character. Everyone adores Totoro, a furry figure with a massive following who has a new home at this Japanese bus station.
