Orangenormal on Reddit posted on the "AITA" subreddit, sharing a situation where his mother offered his condo to two of her friends without his knowledge or consent. Orangenormal and his husband live far from their parents, but they happily accommodate them in their condo when they visit.

They have a guest room and a guest bathroom, making it easy to host visitors without it being an imposition. However, Orangenormal's mother took advantage of their hospitality by offering their home to two of her friends without their consent.

When Orangenormal found out, he declined to let the two women stay, citing his lack of familiarity with them and his work commitments during the day. Orangenormal's mother tried to sweeten the deal and guilt-trip him by saying the women would cook for them and explaining that one of them had lost her husband and son and could use the financial assistance and company.

Despite this, Orangenormal still refused and recommended hotels for the women to stay in. Things got awkward when one of the women confronted Orangenormal at his grandmother's funeral, introducing herself as the person he denied accommodation.

Orangenormal tried to be polite but was shocked the woman was offended by the rejection. While Orangenormal empathizes with the woman's hardships, he doesn't think he did anything wrong in refusing to let them stay in his home because they are strangers.
