Redditor Slammed For Complaining About Barking Dog
Living with a dog can be rough sometimes.

Living with a dog can be more challenging than some people think because while the videos and pics we see daily with dogs being hilarious and adorable are great, there's another side of the story where it isn't as appealing. Taking care of a dog isn't easy and it's a lot harder when you're taking care of someone else's dog because the number of dogs with separation anxiety is higher than most people think.
Dogs with separation anxiety will go crazy when away from their owners and it's not easy for anyone to handle living with a dog who's almost constantly barking and bawling because he's not with his owners. It's important to stay patient and handle the dog carefully and you have to understand that it's not easy for that dog to be away from its owners, so you should be ready for this if you plan on taking care of someone's dog.
This Reddit user was tasked with taking care of his parents-in-law's dog and it turned out to be a lot harder than he expected it to be since it was a lot more work to take care of it than his dog. It turned out that the dog has separation anxiety and it would get upset when left alone so the dog would start constantly barking and bawling.
OP told his girlfriend that the dog might need professional help but she just told him that that's just how the dog is and that it's nothing new. After sending his girlfriend a text in which he vented about the dog because it wouldn't stop barking which was disturbing him since he works from home, she told him that he needs to stop complaining so much about the dog.
His girlfriend is sullen because he complains about the dog so OP turned to Reddit for advice in figuring out if he's in the wrong or not. Make sure to scroll down to read the full story and see what the people of Reddit had to say about this whole situation.

Well, what do you think? It's easy to understand that someone would have a hard time dealing with a dog that has separation anxiety since we know that it gets hard.
You just have to be patient and getting professional help is always a good idea. It seems like Reddit sided with OP, but we want to hear your opinion on this.
