When we were kids, a lot of us looked up to adults. They all seemed like they knew how to do everything and like they didn't need anybody's help.

In fact, a lot of us even wanted to quicken up the growth process because we just wanted to be adults already. Little did we know that what we thought was far from reality.

In general, no matter how old people are, chances are that they don't really know what they're doing. Even if they're earning a great salary or that they have a good house, they might not really have a good idea of what it is exactly that they're doing.

Sometimes, that cluelessness extends to the simplest of things. Some people who are considered adults are missing some of the most basic life skills out there.

Some of them might not have had anyone to teach them while growing up or some of them might have had someone to do everything for them. Whatever the reason, not everyone knows all the basic human skills and has to learn them the hard way.

In an attempt to figure out what these skills people grew up without, Reddit use arual_x posted the question, "What's the most horrifying 'how do you not know how to do this?' moment you've experienced with another person whilst adulting?" And well, the answers are pretty interesting.

We want to say that some of these incidents made our faith in humanity wane just a little but no, we have to keep hope. After all, there are people who helped educate all these clueless people.

Thankfully now, there are fewer people who might cause more accidents than necessary in the world. Here's to hoping they pass the knowledge on to others who were previously in their place.
