We all do things we regret sometimes. And regrets seem to be a common theme when it comes to work Christmas parties.
This time last year, one (now-deleted) Reddit user shared her story of deep regret in the r/relationship_advice subreddit. She explained that she had attended her work Christmas party, and everyone was having a great time.
Of course, everyone was drinking, and because the OP doesn't drink very often, the effects of the alcohol hit her pretty hard. She says she only remembers bits and pieces from the night.
She can't remember what she said or how long she was at the party. But, when she woke up, one of her female colleagues filled her in on all the crazy things she did that night.
The OP felt anxious when she realized she had cheated on her partner by making out with a colleague. But, when she got home, she told him all the things she found out she did.
Now, the OP says that all of her coworkers look at her strangely, and she is embarrassed that they all know her personal business. Some of them had even tried to talk her out of cheating on her partner during the party.
The Redditor isn't sure if she should try to ignore the situation and hope it goes away or if she should start looking for a new job. Keep scrolling to see how people reacted.
