Reptiles, in general, have a terrible rep, and most people don’t really like them. We are mostly afraid of them, which significantly reduces our desire to get to know them better.
Which in turn increases our fear, which leads to even less desire to get to know them….. you get the picture. Well, while we are on the subject of pictures, there is a photographer in Indonesia who wants to change all that.
Yan Hidayat is passionate about photography, reptiles, and insects. So he decided to combine his passions into wonderful portrayals of animals we don’t pay much attention to.
They are not cuddly, fluffy, or playful. But they are amazing. And the best way to see this is through macro photographs.
They are taken from close and in high resolution, perfectly capturing these animals’ nature. And we have to admit, snakes and lizards don’t look so scary now….
