"You can't trust everything that comes out of a child's mouth," is a phrase many of us have heard many times, but you can't also ignore everything that comes out of a child's mouth!
Children have no filter and so sometimes they blurt out bitter truth we've been running away from. Don't like an aunt, but don't have the guts to say it out loud?
Give a child the task and they'll make sure your aunt hears it loud and clear. Children may be blunt and sharp at the same time, but they're innocent beings who haven't learned to sugarcoat things.
This is where parents step in to train their kids and make them understand the concept of not hurting people's feelings and sentiments just because they're kids. They're taught how to say things in a different way than what they're used to.
Sure, it's great to call a spade a spade, but instead of being too blunt, parents teach their children to be more polite and use more respectful words instead. But what happens when parents forbid their kids to use certain words?
Well, then parents get roasted in the language they understand best! Children are geniuses at inventing new phrases just to get their word across.
Don't believe me? Check out what some parents have to say!

Blue42SmkIn Summary...
As you've seen, kids can get their word across even if you put barricades in their vocabulary! There's no way they're going to suck it up because you told them not to say certain words.
So next time you tell your kids to not say something, be prepared to hear what they have to say. It might take you a while to get used to polite food roasts, but hey, at least it won't hurt as much!
