Each business has its rules about dealing with troublesome customers. And they are mainly based on years of experience, which makes them pretty good and practical.
However, it is left to the managers to decide what's troublesome behavior. And most managers have a limited amount of experience or are overworked, and they often overreact.
And we have one of those examples today.
A Chik-fil-A manager called the police on a customer who was reportedly angry about the restaurant's policy of only allowing five sauces on a $60 order, according to Tiktoker @adelelaresee. In the video, the manager can be seen on the phone with the police, stating that the customer and their partner were "causing a large scene, and they won't leave."
The woman responded: "Just so you know, you'll be all over TikTok." In the description, she said they were banned from the restaurant, writing: "I'm trespassed from Chik-fil-A over sauce!"
The couple later shared more details about the incident in a follow-up video.
According to the text in the video, the manager said the couple was only allowed 5 sauces on a $60 order. And apparently, that’s strictly enforced!
In a follow-up video, she and her partner explained the situation. The man said: ““Now we had a full order. We had two spicy chicken deluxe sandwiches, we had two macaroni and cheeses, we had a waffle fry, she got a salad, we had a thirty piece nugget, lot of food.”

@adelelareseeThe couple wanted more sauces for their order, but the manager insisted on enforcing a strict policy of only allowing five sauces per order. An argument ensued, and the manager eventually called the police and told the couple to leave.
The woman said she started recording when he called the police because “I was in shock that he actually called the police over sauce,” she said.
The couple claimed that they were not causing a disturbance and were simply requesting more sauce. Many commenters expressed surprise at the restriction on sauces and stated that they had never experienced any limits on the number of sauces they could receive.
People shared their views:

Well, you've seen the videos of the incident at Chik-fil-A. Do you believe that the manager was justified in calling the police over the couple's request for additional sauce?
Company rules are company rules. But it is quite possible that this particular restaurant was low on sauces, and that's why this manager said it was company policy.
