One day, as the OP and her partner were having sexual intercourse, he moaned out Lucy's name. The OP asked why he was moaning their cat's name, and he said it was just an accident, but the OP was smarter than that.

She wore her investigative garment and asked some of his friends if he knew anyone named Lucy. Lo and behold, Lucy was the name of his co-worker, whom he was dating as well.
