The experiences of these women are varied. But what's common during that aftermath is that couples feel the need to grieve in silence.
They never reveal their loss to family and friends even if the experience is a very heavy burden. In one study conducted in New York, people felt guilty, alone, and ashamed and nearly half of survey respondents also admitted that they felt that they did something wrong along the way.
