Illustrator "Punderfully" Recreates Pop Culture Icons As Cats With Puns

If you love cats as much as I do, you'll agree that everything in life is better with a cat. And someone else who agrees wholeheartedly is illustrator Katie Ruby.

Katie loves cats so much that she has created a new series called The Punderful World of Cats. In the adorable images, Katie recreates pop culture icons as cartoon cats with puns.

Initially, Katie says the project was a way for her to escape after coming home from her day job creating greeting cards. "Initially, I posted photographs of my doodles straight from my sketchbook onto Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter," she says.

But nowadays, Katie is creating new illustrations for the series as often as possible. "Now that I am a freelance Illustrator, I ensure that once a week (if possible), I take the time to work on a new pun and fully render in color," she said.

That's not all! Katie has also created some coloring in pages for us all to enjoy, plus she has an official coloring book available in her shop.

"I also have drawn some coloring in pages which you can download from my website for free," she says. BRB, just grabbing my pencil case!
